March came in with a mess of a storm and set me to a challenge on Lake Michigan. I went in search of global wildness. There was even a day I contemplated piracy. And yet there were also days I barely made it down for a visit. It's the week the lion "March-ed" in, the ice melted, returned and then broke up again. An ebb and flow on our shore; yet ice coverage on the Great Lakes overall has come close to breaking the all-time record. Here are some pictures from March's first week.
