The  home was turned into an office and factory.  He began sewing the FUBU label (For US By US ) label on sweatshirts, t-shirts and hockey shirts.  His friend, L. L. Cool  J. wore a FUBU t-shirt in a promotional campaign and the magic began.     He traveled to Las Vegas for a trade show, could not afford a booth and received over $300,000 in orders from his hotel room.  They signed contracts with Macy's , JC Penny and other national retailers.  By 1998  sales were at $350 million.  Today FUBU enjoys six billion dollars in global sales.
