When I started blogging on ChicagoNow, my wife and I were in the process of seeking a larger, more family-friendly abode. My goal for the blog was to describe the real interactions and experiences I’ve had with realtors, loan officers and home owners while visiting open houses and viewing homes for sale. And I did write a lot of posts about our adventures (While the stories are true, I omitted details when necessary to protect the identity of the parties involved.)
However, within the first week of this blog's inception (oct 2012), we found a house we liked and put in an offer. It was a grueling process but we did close and move in before year's end. Now I write about whatever strikes my fancy: Technology, Chicago Bears, Do It Yourself projects, Life in Corporate America, whatever.
I do still have a lot of Real Estate related stories to share so I reserve the right to post them from time to time, perhaps to the bane of local realtors.
