Hasana, Inc. Launch Party to Benefit the Aparecio Foundation

There's no better way to party than to party with a purpose.

On December 14, 2011, the Aparecio Foundation, a Chicago-based nonprofit utilizing mentoring programs to promote the personal and professional development of low-income, high-potential young women in Chicago high schools,  celebrates the launch of its embedded marketing arm, Hasana, Inc, with simultaneous events in Chicago and New York.

Hasana, Inc. is a commerce-driven initiative that uses sales from its retail and online store to fund employment, internships, workforce development and youth services for underserved young women.  One hundred percent of profits, after cost, directly benefit the Foundation.

The bi-coastal event (surely you've heard of the "mid coast"), "Viva La Vida Masquerade Party," is a mobile app launch at the W Hotel -  City Center in Chicago and pop-up store launch in New York. The Chicago event is hosted by Eric Himel ("Windy City Live") and fellow ChicagoNow blogger, Candace Jordan ("Candid Candace).
