Ok, so I know Melissa G. from a mutual friend who I will call for the time being Jenny S(exy). And I have followed M.GO fashion since I could follow it. I must give props to the Cirque de la Mode fashion show at Tantrix this past Friday night-it worked on many levels.
I could have been easily seduced by the the haute couture fashion events that make the press in the NY Times and CS Magazine-but after reviewing my photos I have come to realize Melissa is a visionary beyond the traditional.
M. GO had the gumption to launch her own boutique and them promote fashion that suits her demographic. Which I like to call the Metropolatino. The set who embraces the Latino culture and body of art...doing it in a very unique presentation-that is distinctly Latin..y me gusta mucho!!!
I've been lucky enough to travel the world and see fashion shows with the 'best designers' but Melissa knows how to dress the women who are Latina and make those observing...mouths drool...!
And for those in attendance....FYI-super skinny is not in...keep some meat on them bones. Let's keep it real!
M.G.-don't do a thing different you embody the Latina spirit! Go go M. Go...!!!
