IMPACTO-Kickoff to Latino Fashion Week was Moda in the City and much more...

The 4th installment of this brilliant fashion conception-the vision of it's founders Cesar Rolon and Arabel Alva Rosales is clear: Latinos are making their mark in Fashion here in Chicago and around the world.  Their artistry is evident and it is quite exciting to see it unfold.

"Moda in the City" was an invitation only event for media covering Latino Fashion Week and I'm glad to be in this press club.  Held at the Crimson Lounge hosted by local media celebrities-under the direction of Andrea Figueroa the kickoff fashion shows let me know this will be a great week in the City.  So if you haven't booked your tickets don't wait more is in store.

This year LFW will be making tribute to not only local fashion but cinema-featuring Celia Cruz, student design, youth development, international designers and then to crescendo on Saturday with the "Passport to Design"-Fashion Ball.
