About Sarah

Born and raised in Chicago, Sarah Lahalih began riding motorcycles
at the age of 17. In 2001, Sarah opened Motorcycle Riding's Cool (www.motorcyclelearning.com), the
first private motorcycle program in Illinois. Since opening, the school
has been featured in several news stories including: WGN, 190 North,
Fox News, ABC News, NBC News and CBS News, CLTV, Chicago Tribune,
Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Journal, Chicago Learning Guide. She has
also been featured in Chicago Magazine and Today's Chicago Woman.

In 2008 Sarah opened Chicago Motorcycle Rental, (www.chimotorental.com), the first motorcycle rental company in Illinois to offer foreign brand motorcycles.

In 2007 Sarah began contract work with the United States military. She travels to military bases all over the country to train personnel in motorcycle safety. Her work includes, curriculum development, training new riders, polishing existing riders, and certifiying new instructors.

In spite of her responsibilities as the General Manager and
President of Motorcycle Riding's Cool, and Chicago Motorcycle Rental, Sarah still finds time to attend
several two-wheeled education courses ranging from motorcycle accident
scene management to track racing. These motorcycle courses help to
expand her knowledge and sharpen her riding skills. Sarah is always
preaching that she feels, "as an instructor, it is important to be
knowledgeable in all types of riding." Sarah is a graduate of the
following motorcycle schools: American Supercamp, Jason Pridmore's Star School, Freddie
Spencer High Performance Riding School, BMW Enduro Park off- road
school, Kevin Schwantz Suzuki School, California Superbike School,
Suzuki Supermoto School, Lee Parks ARC, etc. Sarah is also a Motorcycle
Safety Foundation certified Rider Coach, Rider Coach Trainer, Dirt Bike
Coach, and Scooter Coach.

In 2005 Sarah obtained a CCS racing license. She races a Suzuki
SV650 in the lightweight class.
Since international travel is also one of Sarah's passions, she has
ridden motorcycles in Brazil, Greece, Hawaii, Italy, and Spain. Sarah has traveled to 6 continents, and is scheduled to travel to the 7th, (Antarctica) this year.

In addition to owning and operating Motorcycle Riding's Cool, Sarah is
very active in the motorcycle community. She serves on the Illinois
Motorcycle Safety Council and is working closely with the City of
Chicago on motorcycle/scooter specific parking initiatives, as well as
an anti-congestion and clean air campaign.

Sarah's current fleet of personal motorcycles and scooters includes: BMW F650 Dakar,
BMW R100GS PD, Suzuki SV 650, Aprillia RS250, Honda CB175, Honda 125GP,
Kymco 150cc Scooter, Sachs Madass 50cc scooter.

Outside of motorcycling Sarah's stays active in
several sports including rock climbing, tennis, rollerblading, and boxing. Sarah is a
former Chicago Golden Gloves Boxing Champ (1993-1998). Now she teaches a
children's boxing program at POW Martial Arts (www.powkickboxing.com) in the West Loop.
