Motorcycle Sting Operations in the 42nd Ward

Alderman Reilly Calls for Motorcycle Sting Operations!

Earlier this year, Alderman Reilly began working with 001 District and
018 District Traffic Divisions of the Chicago Police Department and
the Illinois State Police to conduct a series of "sting operations"
this summer to address the seasonal residential complaints about
motorcycle noise.  The first of these "Motorcycle Missions" was held
May 14th and 15th.

  • This is a nationwide trend, and it is not just motorcycles they are after. This is the new way of raising revenue for the State and for local governments. I venture to guess that the fines have increased as well!
