BMW To Offer Motorcycle Training At 2010 Rally

Recently, the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America (MOA) created the Rider Performance University concept as a means of delivering rider education events to their members and the general motorcycling population.
The rally will take place in Redmond Oregon, July 15-18.

The classes that will be offered during the rally will include:

Expericenced RiderCourse-Skills Plus

Advanced RiderCourse-Sportbike Techniques

SeasonedRider Workshop

StreetSmart Rider Perception Workshop

SMARTrainer Learning

The MOA and Foundation are considering the purchase of the Honda/MSF SMARTrainer, a fully-functioning motorcycle simulator. The ST is NOT a tool to improve physical riding skills (i.e. hands-and-feet), but rather, to help students display their mental and visual riding skills and strategies in a 'no-risk' environment, and receive pain-free feedback.
