Being on a motorcycle means something different to each individual rider. I do not pretend to know anything about Brad Pitt's life, but if he is anything like the rest of us, he is able to escape from quite a bit while riding his motorcycle. Even if it is for a short periods of time.
There is something extremely therapeutic about operating a motorcycle.
There is a long standing joke among motorcyclists; 'if everyone rode motorcycles, psychiatrists would be out of work.'
So here is a guy (Brad Pitt), who is just looking for a little escape, some temporary privacy, and it is interrupted by the stress of paparazzi chasing him. The stress causes poor management of the motorcycle, leading to a fall. Luckily he was not hurt.
There is a reason the police are no longer allowed to chase
motorcycles. It is very dangerous for the rider. Adrenalin makes us do
crazy things sometimes.
I can see from the picture of the motorcycle
he was riding, it has a long wheel base. This will make it harder to
maneuver, especially at low speeds. So the next time you see Brad Pitt
cruising on one of his amazing motorcycles, just let him be.
Sometimes a man just needs to be alone with his motorcycle.
