Wabash Tap on Wabash is the the place to be on Wednesday

Wabash Tap in the South Loop is at 1233 S. Wabash.  And you better drop in there Wednesday evening--because all the tips collected that night by staff, and volunteers who will help serve food and drinks in this lively tavern, will be donated to Misericordia, a wonderful and well known facility  in Chicago that serves the special needs population.

The annual event has been raising  money in this fun way for the last few years.

My South Loop neighbors and dear friends, John and Kathryn Moery, whose son Steven lives in a beautiful north side group home run by Misericordia, will be on hand to serve Wabash Tap customers their food and booze.  You can read other posts I've written in the past about this unique fundraiser here and here.

Remember if you come on over to our friendly neighborhood tavern Wednesday--anytime between 6 and 9--TIP WELL!!!
