Seeing those poor, fat animals makes me sad. I totally see a reality show opportunity for Animal Planet. Or does one exist?
It is sad if its a case of lazy/bad pet owners for sure. otherwise if they are just chubby I think its kind of cute :)

Fat animals are not as repulsive to me as sell out journalists. Especially the kind that drum up sponsors for diet companies through inane ads!

I read a CG Society story that said the fat giraffe is fake - computer generated by CG artist Thomas Mangold - to prove a point about what would happen to giraffes if they were unlucky enough to be indigenous to the U.S.
