Making her debut at Rehab, the hip new space located in the front of Circuit Night Club at 3641 N. Halsted, the lovely Miss Foozie hosted her new show, Wiggin Out!
Designed to provide a weekly outlet for creative LGBT individuals in Chicago, Wiggin Out! provides 7 five minute spots for contestants who sign up by 9:00 p.m. on any given Saturday evening.
The audience also plays a special part in the shows activity, by voting with their applause. Guests judges round up the final tally of winners. In addition to a sizeable cash prize, each week's winner then competes in the final show of at the end of the month.
Miss Foozie is clearly in her element! In all the years that I've been friends with Foo, I've never seen her so jazzed. Foozie fans should take note that she performs a "quickie" or two as well. Her first performance of the evening was to the song "Beauty school drop-out"; trying on a myriad of different hair pieces. She went from wig to wig, each one crazier than the next. She may not know the words, but she looks like she does!
Some of the notables in attendance were the Red Eye's Jason Steele; socialite blogger, Paul Blackburn; Entertainer, Paula Sinclare; and Time Out Chicago's Jason Heidemann
