U.S. Marine Sgt. Scott Moore is about to become the latest viral sensation to come from the pool of weirdness known as YouTube. Mila Kunis, best known for Fox's "That 70's Show" and Black Swan with Natalie Portman, has accepted a blind date with Moore to a ball that will take place on November 18th in Greenville, N.C. Part of what makes this video rather unique is the fact he recorded it while on duty in Musa Qala, Afghanistan.
Celebrities and regular folks dating is often a topic of choice on some entertainment blogs. I never gave it much thought because I didn't see how it would work: everything you are is overshadowed by the popularity of your girlfriend/boyfriend. Now that Moore has successfully landed a date with Miss Kunis, I wonder if that will unleash an avalanche of date request videos on YouTube.
It would be stupid to have a cynical mind set and automatically write-off any future attempts such as the one Scott Moore successfully pulled off. I think if one has the gumption and the right presentation, a date with any celebrity could be possible. That is of course if the celebrity they ask out would be willing to take that chance.
I ponder at this moment whether I would be bold enough to do such a thing without coming off as incredibly desperate. I'll wait and see how Moore's date with Mila turns out before I fire up the camera and possibly make a fool of myself on YouTube. I wonder what would happen if George Clooney did a video now that he's single asking for love on YouTube.

I really hope what you're saying is false because I can imagine how many of those dating videos would show up on youtube. Personally I wouldn't go for it at all.
