I'm still waiting on Puff Daddy to pay my bills

A few years ago, I had a dream that Sean Combs, aka P. Diddy or Puff Daddy as I last remembered him, and I were in jail together. We were in a holding cell with a few other inmates. Once he was released, he left word that those who were in the holding cell with him, he would pay off all of their debts. A Puerto Rican girl, who arrived moments later, was upset because she was too late. Then, I woke up.

When I told people that dream, I got mixed responses. My sister thought it was due to a burrito I ate late the prior evening. My cousin and another person said that God may use Puffy to send me a financial blessing. I don't know which was true but so far, no word from Mr. Combs. However, I think I may have an idea of where that weird dream came from.

When I became diagnosed with lupus, I didn't know that I signed up to become a walking pharmacy. Lupus is an autoimmune disease where the immune system is overactive, attacking itself, causing damage or potential damage to internal or external organ systems.  From immunosuppressants to vitamin supplements and a few mood-altering tablets, it's enough to create a weird dream. Could it have been that burrito I ate? It's possible with its spices and I should be glad I didn't have a nightmare.

Normally I don't eat anything after 6pm because that's my winding down time, not to mention I don't have a cast-iron stomach anymore. Bygone are the days when I could eat a Maxwell Street Polish, smothered in grilled onions and mustard when I left the bars or clubs after 2am. The older I get, the more my body tells me what I can and cannot do and it's up to me to comply to its rules.

As stated, I'm still waiting on my dream to come to its fruition Puffy, because anything's possible.  As far as eating burritos at night, we have an understanding.
