There are 3 skin care brands I don't want to live without and I'll reveal them shortly. First, as a woman with lupus, paying attention to my skin is important since lupus can have an effect on the skin. Lupus is an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks itself, causing damage or potential damage to internal and external organ systems.
Rashes, scarring, dryness and peeling are common in person's skin who has lupus and since summer's coming, we have to pay special attention to it to protect ourselves. Avoiding direct sunlight is a must so getting a product with SPF and the number that suits you according to your doctor is very important.
So, without further ado, I've become a skin care addict to these brands and their products, so much that I haven't bought anything over-the-counter in months:
- Pre de Provence. This company is amazing! Their soaps are out of this world! My personal favorite is Rose Petal. I also love the fact that this company also sell products for men and I buy their soap and body wash for my sons. Their prices are great and they have a lifelong customer.
- Caudalie. This company specializes more in skin care for the face. However, they have great smelling fragrances, hand creams, and body lotions. The one I love in particular is the Des Vignes collections.
- Bastide. I'm a newborn to this company. They have great soaps as well and I'm addicted to the hand creams. I wish the hand creams came in a lotion. One caveat: some of their items are so popular that they run out of stock, like their amazing Rose Olivier perfume. At least I have the soap and hand cream.
What's great about these products is that they are natural and plant-based. Their soaps are either made with vegetable or olive oil. They lather well and smell sooo good! I forgot to mention that each company offer gift sets and miniature sized products to choose from, in case you can't decide what you want.
