Asadah Kirkland is the CEO and Founder of the Soulful Chicago Book Fair. This event is free to the public on Saturday, April 13, 2019 between the hours of 10am-6pm. There will be live performances, food, but especially a variety of books by African American authors. This book fair is so important because it will feature books of different genres, giving the public a lot to choose from. My book, The Adventures of Kameron is about autism and I'm delighted to be a representative at the event!
If you're a book lover, this is the event for you! Technology is great but there's nothing like holding a book in your hand. It's also great for children to own traditional books because it teaches them to focus and concentrate more on reading. For more information, please visit the Soulful Chicago Book Fair website here and I hope you can make it!
