Entertainer Lil Wayne is in town this weekend for anyone who cares. Personally, I don't care for the guy. And I'm sure that Weezy fans could care less that I don't care. However, I have to give him respect for being able to entertain fans of various age groups. I know that I normally blog about living a full life with lupus. I totally believe that you should engage in things you love in order to create a better quality of life for yourself.
Mr. Carter's fans are usually thirteen to twenty-five years old but I recently heard that Judge Greg Mathis will be in attendance. Why is that news? This is great news for his older generation of fans, who are probably ashamed to let anyone know that they adore this hop-a-long creature. My oldest sister (pictured below) has to be the biggest fan in her age group.
My sister has and always had a zest for life. People who know her sometimes try to knock her off her box, telling her that she need to act her age. In my arts and humanities class, we're discussing myth origins. Who set the standard or the myth that you are supposed to act a certain way to begin with? Of course we don't want to be 80-year-old daredevils but even then, if it's enjoyable to the individual, it should be okay with us.
For those who choose to live in a box with limitations, be my guest. For those who enjoy life and is not afraid to step out of the box, I applaud you and give you the advice of listening to your body and act accordingly.
And this act fits all ages.
