After a short road trip last week, the Ramblers now sit at 5-16 overall and 0-11 in the Horizon League and are currently enduring the lowest point of the season riding a nine game losing streak. Loyola suffered a 67-52 loss to Detroit and a 47-41 loss to Wright State. No that was not a mistake, the Ramblers did really score only 41 points. Here are links to Tribune recaps:
In other news, Bradley has been chosen as the BracketBuster opponent for Loyola. The ESPN feature game should be evenly matched, but likely far from exciting. Hey, maybe it'll turn out to be a good one in Peoria. It's too bad the Ramblers aren't playing host so they can showcase Gentile Arena.
Don't forget about the Jesuit Jam Friday against Cleveland State. This is an awesome opportunity for students so don't miss it! Come out and cheer for your ailing Ramblers! This game will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
