New Chicago Mob TV Webisode Series Has Arrived

New Chicago Mob TV Webisode Series Has Arrived

What do you get when you cross Goodfellas and theSopranos? A fun filled action packed web series called “Da Wise Guys” written by Chicago’s own 1Club.FM owner, Sal Amato. Da Wise Guys was inspired by events involving the Chicago Mob and a myriad of crooked Chicago politicians.

The cast of Da Wiseguys is a collaborative of Chicago’s finest and incredibly talented actors each with their own colorful character. Joe Farina (Dennis Farina’s son) narrates the series and plays a mob hit man who turned informant and is better known as “Rat Bastard.”

In each and every episode, Farina’s commentary sets up either a scene or presents his perspective on what you're about to see. It's that tone that highlights the series' unique angle and twists - namely, who are the real criminals?

Sal Amato plays Mickey Auriano-the lead mobster. The infamous Frankie “Hollywood” Rodriguez brings this amazing series to life as the Director and Director of Photography. Yours truly, “Life’s Short”-Divorce lawyer, Corri Fetman plays “Peaches,” an exotic dancer working for the mob (think Bada Bing).

Anna Dulin, an upcoming actress, plays “Cream,” another exotic dancer. Dominic Capone—third generation relation to Alphonse Capone-- plays Stubs, another mobster working under Mickey. Long time actor, Gary Ryder plays a corrupt politician, Alderman Ringenhauser.

Sal Amato, states that “the series will be presented as an “Interseries” of weekly short webisodes that combine to make up episodes.” Amato states that this show is different because “it has a unique perspective on mob shows. Sure there are whackings, bizarre characters with quirks and strange names but never has a show presented the politicians in the light they will be portrayed in Da Wiseguys.”

The first webisode, “The Art of Negotiation” will be aired on July 18, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. and you may access it at Check back for interviews of the Director, Producer, Writer and learn more about the series. There will be nine (9) webisodes and they will be posted regularly. You do not want to miss this series.
