Lazenby Was Miscast as 007...Should Have Been "Pussy Galore"

George Lazenby, whose claim to fame was playing James Bond in 1969, has challenged his prenuptial agreement with his estranged wife and former tennis player, Pamela Shriver. While this type of conduct is common place in the divorce business, George's reasoning is not.

Shriver filed for divorce after a six year marriage to Lazenby. The
couple worked quickly and have three children, five-year-old George,
Jr. and twins Kate and Sam, three years old.  Shriver is 47 years old
and good old George is 69.  In this bitter custody dispute, Shriver has
specifically alleged that Lazenby was an abusive drunk who assaulted
her and provided the children with alcohol.

Lazenby believes that  the Judge should declare the prenuptial
agreement void because Shriver is "30 times a millionaire."  Lazenby
claims that he does not want to explain to his children the reason his
lifestyle will be so much lower than Shriver. Even though it has been
reported that Lazenby has over one million dollars of his own assets,
he is requesting that Shriver also pay him a paltry sum of in excess of
$16,000 a month in spousal support.

The last time I checked, Lazenby's grounds for declaring the prenuptial
agreement void, namely, he wants more money, were not valid grounds for
contesting a prenuptial agreement in any jurisdiction.  Maybe someone
should inform George that if he does not want his children to view him
poorly, he should grow some balls and take parenting classes. I am
certain George's children will grow up and really respect daddy 007's
decision to request spousal support from their mother.  Perhaps George
needs to learn that it is far more important to instill a loving and
supportive environment for his children than to worry about an
extravagant lifestyle and the dimensions of his home. But then again,
maybe it is all about size for Lazenby.
