This weekend, I am attending a retreat called ” Manifesting your Desires.” While preparing for it tonight, I reflected on a variety of questions.
- Am I living a life that reflects what I value?
- Do I spend money on what is important, on what matters?
- Am I doing things I enjoy?
- Am I being with people I love and who bring me joy?
- What are my desires and can I manifest them or am I fated to live the life I am living?
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, "Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Who would think that those branches would turn green again and blossom, but we hope it, we know it." I can decide to respond to circumstances with hope or by feeling defeated. Like right now, I can’t seem to get out of debt. I could decide that I am just not meant to have money or I can let this situation push me to write and to get my next book published.I am much stronger than I think. Everything I have been through and continue to go through will help me to grow, learn about what I truly desire and then make it come true. I hope that you join me in this journey of choosing your own fate.
