The Chicago Sky will be hosting a job fair before their game on Friday night.
It's no secret that America's men and women in uniform can have a rough time adjusting to civilian life once they are relieved from active duty. One of those challenges is finding a job once they return home. On Friday, the WNBA's Chicago Sky will lend a hand to our veterans who have returned home and are seeking work. This Friday will be "Military Night" at Allstate Arena in Rosemont.
During the afternoon, the Sky will be hosting a "Military Night Career Fair". It will take place at the Allstate Arena's Skyline Room from 2:30pm-5:30pm. Target, Wal-Mart, Pepsi and Wells Fargo are just some of the many companies that will be on hand. Admission is free for veterans and active military personnel, they are also allowed to bring one guest with them.
Civilians can also take part in the career fair for $10. Military personnel will also receive tickets to that night's game, as well as complimentary t-shirts. At 7:30pm, the Sky will take the court against conference rival Indiana. All veterans in attendance will be recognized for their service to our country. For more on the career fair you can click here.
