Derrick Rose was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 10-16, the NBA stated Tuesday. His 2010 Team USA teammate Russell Westbrook won the honor in the West.
The Bulls went 3-1 in those four games. Rose averaged 27.3 PPG, 6.8 APG, and 5.3 RPG, but most impressive, he shot 28-for-29 (96.6%) at the FT line last week. Then, Jan. 17, he shot 7-for-9 at the charity stripe.
This was probably my favorite Rosegasm of the week, which was from Saturday's game against the Heat:
Of course, that was favorite after the alley-oop against the Pistons on Jan. 10, which obviously has it's own post.
