Taj's Minor Ankle Injury Sparked Up Past Plantar Fascitis Problem

Taj Gibson missed practice last week and the back-to-back set in L.A. and Phoenix on that Tuesday and Wednesday with what was described as a sore ankle, a light ankle sprain, to a sore foot.

Sneaky, sneaky, Mr. Gibs.

Whatever the issue truly was, it's activated Taj's plantar fascitis injury with which he played the majority of last season and treated in the off-season, K.C. Johnson reported Tuesday at the Chicago Tribune:

Taj Gibson practiced after sitting out Monday with a sore right foot.
Gibson said the plantar fasciitis that plagued both feet last season has
been "up and down" and that his latest setback still stems from the
ligament he injured during slide drills before a Nov. 21 practice in Los
Angeles.

There's a whisper he may not play Wednesday and no confirmation from the Bulls Taj is no longer day-to-day.
