New Obsession: Heart Patterns

In honor of the Oscar's fashions, which I am currently watching on TV, I wanted to post about a new obsession I have recently been rocking like crazy: heart patterns. It sounds a little cheesy and I am definitely not the "girly girl" type, but something about the simple shape of a tiny heart makes me happy. I also am loving the contrast of black hearts on white fabric and vice versa. Heart patterns are perfect for work (and will likely score you some awww's from coworkers) and cutsy enough to dress up and wear to a night on the town with girl friends.

I have always been obsessed with heart jewelry  Who can forget the famous Tiffany's silver bracelet that EVERYONE owned? My one word of caution, with a busy pattern like tiny hearts, keep the theme simple. Don't over do it with heart jewelry, hair accessories and so on. The pattern is statement enough- keep the rest simple.

Here are two examples of my black & white heart obsession:

I can't wait to post about my favorite Oscar dresses (hint: Halle Berry literally made me pause the TV)
