The 26 Most Glorious Firework Names
I recently went to Phantom Fireworks in Merrillville, Indiana to buy some fireworks and became an instant fan of their firework naming team. Even though that store has well over 79 million(* by my estimation) different kinds of fireworks, all the names were pretty amusing. A friend put me in touch with Phantom CEO, Bruce... Read more »

It's too early to tell if Uncle Mo and The Factor are freaks, or just solid horses among what looks like another substandard crop of 3 year olds. Regardless of their freakiness, they are clearly the class of their class this year and will make for an excellent Derby. I can't recall a more exciting head-to-head Derby match up since Afleet Alex and Bellamy Road. This ought to be fun.
The Factor raced yesterday in the Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn. It was prep race for aspiring Derby horses and The Factor obliterated not only the other horses in the Rebel, but every other 3-year old in the country not named Uncle Mo Assuming the Factor and Uncle Mo go to the Kentucky Derby, here is... So let’s first look at... Read more »
