10 Signs it is Summer in Lincoln Park

We aren't trying to jinx anything here at Lists That Actually Matter, but it appears that summer is finally here to stay. So to celebrate we narrowed it down to two options: pagan sacrifice to the Sun God or writing a list everyday this week chronicling Signs it is Summer in various Chicago neighborhoods, and the latter won narrowly.

Thanks for reading and please check back in with us each day this week for a new neighborhood.

  • The saying "Chicago has two Seasons: Winter and Construction" is a reference to the traffic jams created by the various expressway construction projects that go on during the spring, summer and fall. It has nothing to do with construction projects that occur outside that context. Why don't you focus more on using the proper anecdotes and less on being a snarky douchebag. Also, your blog sucks.

Ha ha, you read blogs that suck- and click on all of the slides nonetheless.

T.R., Chicago is the best place on EARTH. If you make any jokes about it, us chicagoans will call you names and throw labels on you so fast that even a tea-partier would blush. Jokes aren't for blogs, bro. Grow up.
