Top 5 Things We Learned About the Future From the Black Eyed Peas Halftime Show

The moon landing. The Kennedy assassination. 9/11. The Black Eyed Peas performance during halftime of Super Bowl XLV. "Where were you when" moments that those who witnessed them will never forget. Yesterday, our own DanTello filled you in on what we learned in the present day from the most recent of these culture shaping events. And while it was an admirable list, I couldn't help but feel that my colleague missed the larger message of Sunday's performance. Ever the innovators, the Peas were not focused on today, but instead looking to the future, to a world where there's a flying car in every garage and a black leather suit with bike reflectors glued on it in every closet. They invited us in, gave us a glimpse of the future in which they already live, and taught us so much that I'm almost embarrassed to hold this list to just five things.
