Daniel Radcliffe's Gay Film

Can I just say that I truly miss Harry Potter.  But, it seems my Harry Potter is all grown up....and gay...well, not really.

Among the most awaited films at Sundance this year is Daniel Radcliffe's Kill Your Darlings,  first time director John Krokidas's untold story of murder that brought together young gay authors Allen Ginsberg (Daniel Radcliffe) and William Burroughs (Ben Foster), as well as Jack Kerouac (Jack Huston), at Columbia University in 1944. The meeting was the spark that started the Beat movement.

The 29th Annual Sundance Film Festival takes place Jan. 17-27 in Park City, Utah, a handful of films with interest to LGBT viewers will be in the competition.

Kill Your Darlings has released the first batch of on-set images, giving us a look at Daniel Radcliffe in costume as beat generation poet Allen Ginsberg. The first images show Radcliffe looking pretty authentic in Ginsberg’s trademark scarf, sweater and suit ensemble, while those specs are significantly different to avoid any Potter-based confusion.

With so many people, like myself,  paying attention to Radcliffe's post-"Potter" career moves, "Kill Your Darlings" is the project to watch.
