Apparently, quite flavorful.

McCormick has identified America's top 10 "Super-Spiced" cities based on consumption of "Super Spices and Chicago ranks number two on the list.
 
"Chicago is known for its famous "Little Italy" neighborhood and restaurants, Chicago consumes 25,000 pounds of oregano per year. That's six times the weight of the Field Museum's T-Rex skeleton "Sue". Similar to Sue, the most powerful dinosaur, oregano is the number one "Super Spices" because it has one of the highest antioxidant levels of all the herbs," sites McCormick & Company, Inc. press release.
