Not only does Lexus sell amazing cars but they're now hosting amazing listening parties. Last week, The Lexus Listening Lounge graced Chicago once again. The Lexus Listening Lounge is an national event series that allows people to not only check out the hottest Lexus car but the latest R&B recording artists.
This year, the luxury car company choose singer/ songwriter Melanie Fiona where she performed "It Kills me" and "Give it to me Right" from her latest album "The Bridge." Melanie Fiona herself is no stranger to the Lexus family having performed at the 2010 Lexus Pursuit of Perfection event honoring Universal Motown President Sylvia Rhone. Since then, the Toronto born singer has set out on a North American tour opening for yet another friend of the Lexus family, Alicia Keys.
The event took place last week at the Chicago Illuminating Company, a former power plant dating back to the early 1900's. The rustic yet modern decor made the experience feel very exclusive and warm. The event was arguably one of the best of the summer. Some of the past performers include Ryan Leslie, Keri Hilson, Hal Linton, Eric Benet, Angie Stone and Chrisette Michele.
So, Lexus, keep up these listening parties, people are definitely listiening!
