ESPN moves Musburger to SEC Network

Brent Musburger and ESPN have agreed to a contract extension that will bring the 74-year-old veteran to the broadcast booth for the SEC Network football broadcasts. Musburger’s color analyst will be Jesse Palmer. Palmer is a former Florida Gators quarterback and has been a football analyst since 2007.

Murburger’s move to the SEC Network ends his relationship with Kirk Herbstreit in the booth as ABC/ESPN’s lead college football announcer.

Chris Fowler will succeed Musburger in the broadcast booth and will continue to be the host of ESPN’s “College GameDay” through 2023 after signing a contract extension on Thursday.
