What an experience! I am actually at a loss for words when it comes to the experience that I had in the northwoods of Wisconsin last weekend.
Mercer Wisconsin is my home away from home and with the help of the dedicated individuals of the chamber of commerce I was able to experience things in Mercer that I have not had the great opportunity to do.
ATV trail rides, float plane rides, fishing the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, and much much more. A special thanks is necessary for our hosts! Tina, Lisa, Vic, Denise, and the rest of the crew were all accommodating and a pleasure to fish, hike and ATV with.
If you are looking for a place to spend time at and to enjoy the outdoors then Mercer Wisconsin is the place to be. With all the state owned land and wonderful scenery you certainly won't be disappointed. There is so much to do in the area that you will have a hard time fitting it all in. You don't have to be a fisherman to enjoy the area.
Mercer has hundreds of miles of ATV trails, Hiking trails, Snowmobile trails, kayaking areas, and lots of history surrounding the entire area.
Special thanks also goes out to our gracious hosts at Pine Forest Lodge, www.pineforestlodge.com! Cheri and John have such a wonderful place and you will be hearing more about what they have to offer in future entries. Let's just say they cater to all individuals and it is very important that their guests are able to participate in everything they have to offer.
