Time for New Cold Weather Gear?

Time for New Cold Weather Gear?

The cold weather is on its way and for both hunters and fisherman alike one of the key parts of your gear is warm and waterproof clothing. I don’t know what I would do without my warm weather gear.

Whether I am in the deer stand or sitting on the ice I want to make sure I am warm and comfortable. If you get cold then that can easily ruin a day. Recently Clam Outdoors has released a line of both warm and water proof outerwear for just such days afield.

According to Clam they have now the following to offer:

Due to consumer demand IceArmor™ is now offering their cold-weather outerwear to hunters in both camouflage patterns and blaze orange. This revolutionary cold-weather gear will surely keep hunters comfortable, as well as concealed or highly visible in any weather situation.

The IceArmor Parka comes in a Realtree® Max 4 Camouflage pattern or blaze orange and has the same great features as the Classic Blue Parka: Windproof, waterproof and breathable, durable shell. Fleece lined pockets. Large cargo pockets. Neoprene cuffs. Strategically placed D-rings for accessories. These features will make the IceArmor Parka a prime piece of cold-weather gear in the hunter’s cache of concealable or blaze orange clothing. As a companion piece to the parka, the Ice Armor Bibs create a barrier from nature’s frigid spells or acts as a buffer to the chill on milder days.

There are plenty of extras designed to keep your head and hands warm. water resistant and windproof.

And there is more to keep that noggin hot. The IceArmor Windcutter Hat, like the beanie, comes in a Realtree® AP Camoflage pattern, blaze orange and the color black. This whole-head/neck cover is water resistant, made from windproof anti-pilling polar fleece and sports an adjustable elastic cord around the head for a tight fit. Some may not appreciate the cap-style headgear and for them the IceArmor Toque is great for those extremely cold days. If you choose to wear your favorite cap and still want to keep your ears warm check out the IceArmor Cap Strap. Gaiter lovers have an option as well. The IceArmor Gaiter not only keeps the neck warm but can be converted into a hat. Filling out the list of options for head gear are the IceArmor Head Band, the Bomber Hat, the Timmons Hat and everyone’s favorite, the IceArmor Fleece Ball Cap.

Keeping the hands warm is also a high priority for IceArmor. The IceArmor Extreme camo mitts and gloves come in Realtree® AP camo and are made with windproof, waterproof and breathable material, utilize Thinsulate™ Insulation for warmth and have a water repellent shell. The IceArmor Blaze Fold Back mittens come with finger-tip Lycra liners for complete protection, dexterity and comfort. The IceArmor Blaze Fleece gloves come with 40 grams of Thinsulate™ Insulation, a windproof, breathable membrane and Amara palm and fingertip reinforcements.

Those who use the outdoors when the weather is cold realize that IceArmor will keep them warm and dry over every part of their body. Cold, wind, snow, rain and ice are just no match for IceArmor apparel.
