My Favorite Supplements are listed below. You can click on them to see where to purchase them at fairly reasonable places. Although I buy them wholesale because of my gym (POW! in the West Loop), I wanted to make sure you could find them at other online retail locations.
This is s liquid cleanse. The best thing about this full body cleanse is that it replenishes the body and cleanses toxins and eliminates oxidative stress. This product differs from other cleanses because it enters the the body at the cellular level. It is not a diuretic. It comes in small 4 oz botttles as well as a big bottle. The 4 oz bottles make for a great shot in the morning to simple nourish the body even if you are not cleansing for the day.
Udo's oil is the complete essential oil supplement I have found. It has an ideal ratio of of all the omegas the body needs. It is a certified organic blend of Omegas 3, 6 and 9. It contains all the good fat that you need. I prefer the oil, but it also come in a pill. The oil is hard for some to swallow so the pill option may be better for you. Whole Foods also carries it.
This is a whey protein bar that is like a wafer cookie. This crunchy cookie is the best part of this bar. It has 14 grams of protein, 10 grams of carbohydrates, 5 grams of sugar and 205 calories. The flavors are delicious.
Clif Builder Bars
This is a more traditional styled energy bar. It is fairly dense and very filling. It has 20 grams of protein, 23 vitamins and minerals, , 20 grams of sugar and 270 calories.
This supplement is added to a bottle of water. It is a great way to eliminate a cup of coffee from the afternoon before your evening workout. I suggest sipping it. Avoid gulping the entire bottle. I like the raspberry lemonade.
