I’ve been out of town for work for months now hence the blogging hiatus. But I’m back now…and rested…and ready to try every freaking fitness class in Chicago. Except tap dance. Is that a fitness thing yet? I hope not.
I’ve been working twelve-hour days and it was all I could do to maintain my hard-earned fitness level. To be honest, I haven’t exactly maintained all of it. I’ve slacked off a bit and my runs are a little more difficult, my thighs aren’t as firm, and if I eat one more M&M I’m going to look just like the girl M&M in all the commercials: big, round, and all eyelashes. I think the thing to do, though, is to not dwell on what I’ve lost but focus on how much fun it can be to get it back. I've already got my eye on a few classes, gyms, regimes, etc.
