It's been said that: a daily dose of good art is good for the soul.
With so many other things available to us in the world, it's our responsibility to seek elements to stimulate our mind, body and soul. The Museum of Contemporary Art does a excellent job of providing you with a visual experience like no other. Upon entry you are surrounded by artistic pieces on the outside grounds of the building; the stairs are even a work of art from the top level. There's an abundance of collections that MCA is presenting right now, such as the work of Puerto Rican-born artist Rafeal Ferrer, Ania Jaworska's first solo show, The Freedom Principle: Experiments in Art & Music, 1965 to Now and Johnston Marklee's Grid Is A Grid Is A Grid Is A Grid Is A Grid. The amount of interesting and captivating pieces will enhance your passion for creativity.
Just recently The Museum of Contemporary Art Pritzker Director Madeleine Grynsztejn announced that they raised $3.7 million at the Benefit Art Auction, making the event the most successful in their 48-year history. That gives you an idea of what the MCA has done for local/international artist, as well as, the people who seek the works of said artist.
