Chicago Events: An Evening with A Comeaux

For one night only! Chicago welcomes the incomparable A Comeaux of Six Brown Chicks as seen on WCIU and OWN TV now starring in the intense drama film written/directed by Alaina L. Lewis, The Avenue.

In a private screening and riveting never-before seen monologue, A Comeaux will also address in a candid conversation and Q & A, her year after being featured on OWN's Iyanla: Fix My Life. Thursday, October 24th 6-9pm  at the Spoken Word Lounge in the Bridgeport Art Center.  Delectable deserts, hors d'oeuvres and tidbits will be provided by Nticing Ngredients.

You may have even heard her being interviewed on WGN Radio and Power 92. Perhaps, you were one of the millions of Flair TV fans across the globe that experienced her charismatic personality as the host on the popular entertainment show that highlighted celebrity profiles and rising talent. Nekia Nichelle has interviewed a laundry list of your favorite celebrities including Queen Latifah, Sherry Shepherd, Tia Mowry, Newt Gingrich, and so many more. Before sporting her TV host/producer hat, the media maven served as an intern for Nikki Woods, a prominent author, former WGCI Radio personality, and current personality for the Tom Joyner Morning Show. Early on, her beauty and height supported her strong interest in being a world famous supermodel. Eventually she traded the spotlight on the runway for the opportunity to scout talent at a high-profile talent agency in Chicago. She also produced and hosted Flair TV.
