  • That linkedin workshop is something I need. I've spent a total of 10 minutes on my linkedin profile over the last 6 months. Why do I even have a profile? I don't know. Good intentions. Because you're supposed to. Right?

  • In reply to stephawalker:

Yeah, I've found it's almost better not to have it if you don't keep up with it. I think it was a year before I finally went in and filled it all out. I found a bunch of old requests in there and was glad I did it.

  • In reply to JulieWernau:

Ah, the nagging neglected Linkedin account! In my case two, because I accidentally created a second one when I replied to an invite on the "wrong" e-mail address. (Yes, it's possible to botch up Linkedin like that. Nothing is foolproof if you have a big enough fool.)

But apropos of the original post, if you don't have tomorrow evening free but do have $60 to spare (unfortunately I have neither right now), Jason Alba's holding a Linkedin webinar tomorrow at 3:00-4:30 Central:

(No affiliation, and apologies in advance if it's inappropriate to contribute the link.)

  • In reply to rastewart:

Thanks for the tip. Not inappropriate at all.
