Help raise funds for HighSight as you enjoy a fun evening and open bar on Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at The Gage, located at 24 South Michigan Avenue. Tickets are $40 in advance; $50 at the door (if available), which includes a $20 donation to HighSight, beer, wine, soda, and heavy hors d'oeuvres.
I was first introduced to Highsight during their annual Eve of the Eve Event at Untion Station. In the attached video, I spoke with guests, committee members and media about the organization that is helping to send so many Chicago high school students to college.
HighSight is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide academic and social support to Chicago high school students. Highsight provides scholarships, tutoring, mentoring, leadership development and college readiness programs to enable its students to attend and succeed at the private high school of their choice.

- For the eleventh year in a row, 100% of Highsight seniors were accepted into college.100% of our 2011 graduated seniors are currently attending four-year colleges and universities
- The 25 alums in our 2011 graduated class were awarded over $3,000,000 in scholarships and grants for their collective four years of college, an average of more than $100,000 per student
- HighSight Scholars maintain an average cumulative grade point of 3.47 on a 4.0 scale
- More than 80% of all HighSight scholars make the honor roll each quarter
