Kimmy K's "Fairytale" Wedding aired just over three weekes ago and the marriage was a mere 72 days ago. The fairytale wedding was filled with the usual Kardashian drama and came with a price ticket of about $10 million. TMZ estimated that this lavish wedding cost the couple $138,888 for each day of marriage.
Kim filed for divorce today citing irreconcilable differences. Reports indicate that the majority of the problems stemmed from where the couple would reside. Humphries wanted to live in Minnesota and Kim will be filming another reality spin-off in New York with her sister Kourtney and Scott Disick. Not sure why the living arrangements weren't resolved prior to the nuptials.
She hired the pitbull celeb divorce attorney, Laura Wasser, who represented Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Maria Shriver, and Mel Gibson in their divorces. In the divorce papers, Kardashian wants Humphries to pay his own attonrey's fees and that he will not receive spousal support. Interestingly, she is not seeking an annulment at the current time (so much for a Fairytale wedding sequal).
Kardashian was smart enough to sign a prenup (check out celebs and prenups)--which should spell out the spousal support arrangements.
