Thankfully, the mustache has permeated the pedestrian population. Despite the facade, the mustache is no easy feat. Behold, the National Beard and Mustache Championship, which embraces and celebrates the diversity and complexity of the mustache. The National Beard and Mustache champion, Larry McClure of San Francisco, will represent the US at the World Beard and Moustache Championships (yes this exists). Larry won the title because of his 31inch handlebar moustache ... that he spends 45 minutes each day primping! He shellacs it everyday. This hearty mustache even survived catching on fire and getting stuck in the car door!
