Are these guys the unequivocal kings of YouTube or what?
And if you've watched a few of their vids or saw them do the treadmill routine live, you know they're not about editing gags. Just playing music in ridiculously cool ways. Makes sense -- they're from Chicago.
Lead singer Damian Kulash also said one of my favorite things ever when asked if they did each video just to top/ get more web hits than the last. To paraphrase: "I'm in a band. I thought we were supposed to do creative things."
Rock.

Loved their first album...and a few songs of the last couple. Their videos are really cool, I need to listen more thoroughly.
Agreed -- I was a big fan of their first album, too.
Def gotta see the two different vids for "This too shall pass" if you haven't. The Rube Goldberg and the marching band versions. Just wild.

That video is absolutely outrageous. I love it.
This album came out a couple years ago, too. Must have taken a while to set up!
Just when you think they've already made the most creative music video...they come out with another one. They're probaly already working on their next music video that will take a year just to act out!! Love those guys.
How long ago was that treadmill video? Like five years? They were probably one of the first ever viral videos! And still it continues. Bow down to the kings. :-O
I'm still coming back to watch this. For some reason, this version of the song here seems so meant to be...
.. It's so well executed that this seems to be the format the song was meant to be in. Music to my ears. Long live OK Go.
