At 7:03 a.m. Eastern Time, Donald Trump woke up and took up against US Senator from New York, Kirsten Gillibrand, not just responding to her call for him to resign, he sexually harassed her. He tweeted:
Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office “begging” for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!

Any reasonable, mildly educated, somewhat rational human being who can read, would determine that "and would do anything for them" is Trump's dog whistle phrasing to infer that the Senator would have sex for campaign contributions.
To her credit, Senator Gillibrand responded in a more calm and considered way than I'd bet most people would react. She tweeted:
You cannot silence me or the millions of women who have gotten off the sidelines to speak out about the unfitness and shame you have brought to the Oval Office. https://t.co/UbQZqubXZv

Granted, anyone who has been watching the deterioration of our democracy over the past 11 months must be suffering from some level of outrage fatigue at this point.
However, let this morning's activities on Twitter sink in for a moment. The official statement of the "man" who occupies the White House and now a permanent record of the US Government, is that the president has sexually harassed a United States Senator.
Here we are. It is real. I don't want to live in a country where our president does these things every day and all we get is tired of it.
Instead, it just keeps getting worse.
