I had to check my calendar tonight when I watched CBS 2 Chicago News at 10.

Not only did it air at 10:30 p.m. but the weeknight lineup of anchors Rob Johnson, Kate Sullivan and Ryan Baker was used instead of the weekend duo of Mai Martinez and Jim Williams.
[Martinez was shifted from anchor to reporter tonight.]
It appears as if news director Jeff Kiernan wanted to see if the large Chicago audience tuning in after The Grammys would "sample" a week night newscast on Sunday.
He has been known for attracting viewers on a "trial" basis with unique lead stories that can't be found anywhere else.
Will the strategy work?
We'll find out tomorrow morning. :)

NBC5 used the usual staff for after whatever followed the Super Bowl a couple of weeks ago. So, nothing new at 2.
I left out "weekday"
