Interesting Chicago: A year in photos

Chicago is a fascinating place to photograph. There is always something going on, whether it is newsworthy or not.

There are street fairs and fests, Chicago personalities and politicians, civic events, civic art, protests, and a multitude of other subjects to photograph.

The above photo is a young boy watching the one of the Jackie Robinson West Little League World Series games.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel makes several public appearances. I was even fortunate enough to have him bust my stones by asking him a question. This picture was taken at the Memorial Day Ceremonies in Daley Plaza.

Protests are always good photo opportunities. Chicago had no shortage of protests this past year. Anti-Israel, anti-police, SlutWalk, Bring Back our Girls, and a host of others.

Here is a photo slide show of some of the thousands of pictures taken during 2014.
