Chicago is a city in a garden. Surrounded and weaved with emerald jewels of parkland, boulevards with grass strips, and flower troughs.
Residents are also gardeners. They plant flowers in their front yards creating a riot of color for passers by.
Sometimes, you get lucky when taking pictures. Note the grasshopper in the image above.
The photos in the gallery were taken on a stretch of Wellington street between 1300 and 1100 North.
