Occupy Chicago, along with other anti-war groups, held a "Noise Demo" protest at Bean in Millennium Park Friday evening. Approximately fifty of people brought pots, pans, whistles, and other noise makers.
The protesters gathered at the Bean. They left Millennium Park and marched north on Michigan Avenue. North of the Chicago River they turned west and began a circuitous march through various areas of the Loop.
Minimal police presence was on hand. The only problems caused were when protesters left the side walk and marched in traffic. Police were able to herd them back on the sidewalk.
