I spotted this meticulously restored pick up truck parked in Lakeview. While photographing it the owner walked over. He told me his father bought the truck new in 1947. It was the first new model introduced after World War II.
His dad drove the truck every day. The current owner inherited the truck. He drove it daily too. He had it restored to its original condition to turn it over to his own son.
The truck is over 90% original. The only additions are a removable bed liner and the wooden rails.
